Ngày 08/8/2025, Chính phủ Việt Nam đã ban hành Nghị quyết số 229/NQ-CP về việc miễn thị thực theo Chương trình kích cầu phát triển du lịch cho công dân 12 nước Châu Âu. chính sách này được thực hiện kể từ ngày 15/8/2025 đến hết ngày 14/8/2028.
Theo đó, Việt Nam miễn thị thực cho công dân các nước: Vương Quốc Bỉ, Cộng hòa Bulgaria, Cộng hòa Croatia, Cộng hòa Séc, Hungary, Đại Công quốc Luxembourg, Vương quốc Hà Lan, Cộng hòa Ba Lan, Romania, Cộng hòa Slovakia, Cộng hòa Slovenia và Liên bang Thụy Sỹ với thời hạn tạm trú 45 ngày kể từ ngày nhập cảnh với mục đích du lịch, không phân biệt loại hộ chiếu, trên cơ sở đáp ứng đầy đủ các điều kiện nhập cảnh theo quy định của pháp luật Việt Nam, bao gồm:
- Có hộ chiếu còn thời hạn sử dụng ít nhất 06 tháng;
- Không thuộc trường hợp chưa cho nhập cảnh theo quy định của Luật Nhập cảnh, xuất cảnh, quá cảnh và cư trú của người nước ngoài tại Việt Nam.

On August 8, 2025, the Government of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 229/NQ-CP on visa exemption under the tourism development stimulus program for citizens of 12 European countries. This policy is effective from August 15, 2025, to August 14, 2028.
Accordingly, Vietnam grants visa exemption to citizens of the following countries: the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Slovenia, and the Swiss Confederation. The temporary residence period is 45 days from the date of entry for tourism purposes, regardless of passport type, provided that they fully meet the entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law, including:
- Having a passport with a validity of at least 06 months;
- Not being subject to entry suspension in accordance with the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.
